Kara Garwig

Kara completed her internship at The Hochstein School in 2026 after attending Roberts Wesleyan University, majoring in Music Therapy and minoring in Social Work. As a flutist she participated in multiple ensembles at Roberts, such as wind ensemble, orchestra, and flute choir. Additionally, Kara was featured in multiple compositions written by peers.

Kara has experience working with multiple populations: early intervention groups, children in classrooms, elderly populations in memory care, and individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. She is also interested in learning more about Total Communication and developing client communication styles within sessions.

Kara is grateful for her experiences in her internship and being a part of The Hochstein School!
