Whether one-on-one or in a group setting, every Expressive Arts session is customized to meet the needs, interests, and desired outcomes of the people we serve — at Hochstein and throughout the Greater Rochester community.
Every Expressive Arts session — individual or group — is thoughtfully designed around the student. Individual sessions offer dedicated one-on-one time with an Expressive Arts specialist, while group sessions bring people together in community settings to explore music, art, and movement in a supportive environment. Both formats include opportunities to share work with family and friends through our Expressive Arts Showcases and Visual Art Galleries throughout the year.
Individual Expressive Arts sessions are designed and customized to meet the needs, interests, and desired outcomes of each student. Along with regular weekly sessions, students have various opportunities throughout the year to share their art with family, friends, and the community through Expressive Arts Showcases and Visual Art Galleries.
Group Expressive Arts sessions are customized to meet the needs, interests, and desired outcomes of the clients and agencies we work with. Sessions are weekly, 60 minutes in length, and can be conducted at Hochstein or out in the community — at group residences, residential care facilities, day rehabilitation centers, schools, senior centers, and other sites throughout the Greater Rochester area.
