Beneficial for music therapists, music therapy students, singer-songwriters, or anyone looking to improve their guitar skills, this fun summer class will cover various skills and techniques of self-accompaniment on the guitar.
Classes will focus on topics including, but not limited to: chords (first position, bar chords, color chords), strumming patterns, finger-picking patterns, various styles of playing (blues, rock, country, etc.), bass lines, turn-arounds, alternate tunings, transposition, ear training, and more.
Fee: $10 registration fee; $102* tuition. $78 if enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein. (Fees are as of Summer 2020.)
