Enjoy this new Pilates class for those who like to start their day bright and early! Beyond a strong core, supple spine, and toned muscles, practicing Pilates can result in the ability to move mindfully through daily life while diminishing stress and pain. This class will introduce students to the joy and playfulness of Joseph Pilates’ progression of exercises on the mat.
A mindful workout that can be tailored to all body types, this class will help students develop the skills necessary for moving with uniform strength, flexibility, efficient alignment, better balance and coordination, and improved breath capacity. Students should bring their own mat to class.
Fee: $10 registration fee; $102* tuition; $78 for students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein during summer session. Discounts may apply for students enrolled in multiple dance classes. (Fees are as of Summer 2020.)
