Dance for Childrenlittle dancers

(for students ages 3 and older, depending upon specific class guidelines)

A joyful, energetic, and nurturing introduction to dance, presented by teachers specifically trained to work with children, from the pre-school age to age 12! Choose from a variety of offerings for the young dancer. Many of Hochstein's Dance classes enjoy the benefits of live accompaniment.

Take a trial class! Single dance coupons are available for $14.

Mini-Ballerinas & Little Danseurs
Coralis Rivera, Instructor
Tuesdays, 4:15-5:00 pm
ages 3-4
Girls and boys will have a blast (and blow off steam!) in this fun introduction to the world of ballet! Through the use of games and songs, our Mini-Ballerinas and Little Danseurs will learn the names of arm and leg positions, as well as movements such as tendu, plié, relevé, and passé.

Join Borinquen Dance Theatre Assistant Director Coralis Rivera-LaBoy as she takes our girls and boys on a journey into the wonderful, colorful world of Caribbean Dance!

BALLET
Pre-Ballet, Ballet A, B
ages 5-12

Develop coordination, grace, musicality, flexibility and balance in this sequential program. Classes introduce and build skills in basic ballet technique and vocab.


FEE for Children’s Dance: $10 Registration fee; $396* tuition payable in quarterly installments of $99. Students enrolled in individual lessons at Hochstein qualify for a reduced fee of $5 per class for one children’s dance or Music FUNdamentals class (for a savings of $6 per class).

*TUITION ASSISTANCE Students requiring tuition assistance in order to enroll in any program at Hochstein may do so through the Dean’s Office. For children enrolled in individual lessons, reduced fees may apply if household income is less than $40,000. For children enrolling in classes only and for adults enrolling in individual lessons, reduced fees may apply if household income is less than $25,000. Verification of household income and completion of a tuition assistance application is due prior to registration.
