Our new technology hub, the Music Lab, located in our former library space, will be equipped with one teacher and eight student workstations, each with a full-size digital keyboard, and will pave the way for interactive ear-training, keyboard skill-building, and composition classes. Each computer will be loaded with software including Sibelius, Finale, and Auralia/Musition and the Center will also feature a large flatbed scanner for music editing.
We are currently designing a curriculum for the Music Lab that will support the work of our talented faculty, and we welcome your input! A list of computer-based offerings will be available under separate cover in August.
