This percussion ensemble is intended to inspire young percussionists to learn the art of performing and story-telling through marimba/vibraphone/percussion arrangements, marimba improvisations, non-traditional works, and body percussion. The show, The World was Round, is designed to teach students how to use the voice and body gestures to stand out from the widely talented pool of percussionists in today's music world. Theatre elements as well as percussive skills are featured as a unit so that creativity in the art of percussion can be fully achieved. The final performance will be held on December 14 at 7:30 pm.
