WXXI’s Evan Dawson talks with Lidia about her recently published memoir, My American Dream. She'll also discuss her perspectives on food, farming, and what she has learned as she has traveled around the country for her long-running PBS special, Lidia Celebrates America. The event will also highlight the work Lidia and WXXI have been doing with veterans. Members of our local veterans community will join Evan and Lidia on stage for a discussion on how food and farming can help build stronger community connections.
