Rob Goodling has a Master of Arts degree in Musicology and Affiliate Professorship in Music Education, Eastman School of Music; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College. He has performed with the 553 Air Force Band, Corning Philharmonic, and Elmira Symphony Orchestra. He is conductor of the Corning Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Director of Music at Salem Church, Rochester. 


Goodling taught orchestra, chorus, voice, theory/composition, and music history at Corning-Painted Post West and Churchville-Chili Senior High Schools. He is the recipient of Outstanding Choral Conductor and Outstanding Music Educator awards by Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Roberts Wesleyan College-Community Orchestra, the Wenger Corporation, M.I.T., and SUNY-Fredonia. He has multiple listings in Who's Who Among American Educators and is a NYSSMA vocal adjudicator. Goodling has directed/performed in more than 50 musical theater productions in upstate New York.
