Sarah Andreacchi (MFA Choreography and Performance, SUNY Brockport) lives, works, and dances not far from where she grew up in the rolling hills and farmland of the Finger Lakes. She craves music, nature, food, and love and believes entirely in the magic of humor.
Teaching dance (faculty in Hochstein’s Dance Department) and administrating (Program Coordinator, Cobblestone Arts Center) keep her busy earning bucks, while her dance community continues to support the work she insists is integral to her well-being, and for that she is ever grateful.
Over the past few years, she has enjoyed producing collaborative projects incorporating film, live music and dance, original scores, magicians, storytellers, and more than 40 local dance artists. Her most recent work was shown in the Rochester Fringe Festival in 2015. She lives in East Rochester with her husband and son, who keep her grounded, playing, well fed, and consistently inspired.
